Vinfen’s Gateway Arts is an amazing place with a big mission.

now in its 50th year, it is an internationally acclaimed studio art center, gallery, and store supporting meaningful lives and careers in art for adults with disabilities. these portraits are done from imagination, memory, and/or photographs, with careful attention to specific details, such as a distinct gesture, a closely observed pattern, or a bold bright palette. these details build upon one another to tell stories of the connection between each artist and their subject(s).

many thanks to danielle krcmar at bentley university in waltham who is a joy to work with.
